Galaxy Boats’ Trident commercial RIB range uses a modular D-collar system designed for in-field servicing. For operators in rescue, patrol and offshore support, the objective is to reduce downtime and keep deck space usable.
Trident models are built around a deep-V aluminium hull and a removable collar system. Depending on duty cycle and environment, you can specify Hypalon air tubes for lower weight and a traditional inflatable feel, or ToughTek foam collars where impact and abrasion risk is higher and through-life servicing matters.
Because the collar is modular, you plan maintenance as a controlled job rather than a major rebuild. The D-collar layout also increases internal working area, which helps when space directly affects equipment stowage, boarding and recovery, and casualty handling on compact platforms.
Fit-out remains mission-led. Deck track systems, seating layouts and console positions can be configured for SAR, police boarding, tactical enforcement, offshore support, or passenger carriage.
If you are specifying a commercial RIB for hard use, compare foam collar and Hypalon options against your operating profile and support plan. Request the Trident range specification and a configuration discussion at galaxyboats.co.uk.
